One Day Local Culinary Experience in Lima & Lurin Valley

Join us for an intimate and local taste of Lima ’s gastronomy!

We will visit a local market to buy ingredients and then go to our parents’ beautiful pottery studio in Lurin Valley (www.jallpanina.com). You will learn with me all about the main ingredients and Peru’s culinary history. Our hands-on cooking classes will help you learn how to make ceviche, causa as well as other specialties. For lunch we will have a Pisco tasting and a gourmet feast from the delicious dishes we have cooked at a beautiful garden surrounded by trees and birds.

Duration of the tour: 9.30 am- 5pm
* During the Summer our hands-on cooking class will be held at our Pulpo’s beach house.

Half Day - Local Culinary Experience in Barranco

We will visit a local market , walk around my neighbourhood, Barranco, the district known for its bohemian character and home of famous Peruvian artists.

Just in time for lunch or dinner, we will go back to have a Pisco Sour and start our hands–on class of local cuisine and have a feast with a beautiful view of Lima’s coast.

If you want to experience the  Amazon Peruvian gastronomy right there at the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest, or the gastronomy of south of Lima combined with a visit to vineyards where Pisco is produced and a visit to Nazca Lines and Paracas Natural Reserve. Arequipa, at the south of Peru famous also for its traditional food and Colca Canyon. A Peruvian gourmet sailing at the highest lake of the world, Titicaca lake. A seafood feast freshly caught at the northern coast of Peru, where even whales can be seen and ancient pre Colombian ruins visited, like Chan Chan or the Lord of Sipan's museum, among others. Shamanic, spiritual journeys with yoga, meditation and an introduction to healthy local ingredients can also be an option.
